The Stairs

I knew Kitty Jaspers would only check into the best and most expensive hotel in town. I would have to act quick if I wanted to catch her and catching her I wanted.

I put on my fanciest outfit and some make-up to cover the reminder of our first encounter. After I arrived, I sat myself down at the bar, smoking one cigarette after the other, never taking my eyes of the grand staircase that was he only way up to the suites. I knew she wouldn't take the lift, Kitty always went for the grand entrance...

So all I had to do was wait. Wait and smoke.
And tell the occasional lothario wannabe to beat it and beat it good.

I had you now Kitty....

Waiting...

There she stood, waiting for her lover to pass the underwater gates, longing for her touch, her soft hands on her skin, the taste of her lips... the longer she waited, the more she longed for her.

and so she waited and waited and waited...

until she all but perished, underneath the gates, waiting for her...

It's so late!

Why am I still up? And why am I blogging instead of sleeping? What's wrong with me?
